We are excited to introduce our new school news blog, Craigburn Connections, which can be accessed via the link http://blogs.craigburn.sa.edu.au
Craigburn Connections replaces our fortnightly newsletter where we are now able to share news in a shorter time frame and in some instances, as it happens.
We are always looking to improve the way we communicate to families and friends. Through the use of social media, communication can flow both ways – giving our wider community opportunities to interact with and share in the learning that his happening at Craigburn.
At Craigburn Connections, you’ll hear directly from school staff, students and our community on topics including classroom activities, school programs and events, thought leadership in the field of education, and sharing in the wonderful learning from our students.
Anyone can subscribe to Craigburn Connections by clicking the Subscribe button at the bottom of this page.
Please note though, for your convenience, we have imported all current newsletter subscriptions into the Craigburn Connections News Blog.
Each day from 3.30pm, a daily digest email will be sent to all subscribers containing posts from the previous 24 hours. You may wish to add this site to your favourite news reader such as Feedly or add the site to the home screen of your smart phone for easy access.
The Craigburn Connections site also provides:
- the ability to search for older content as blog posts are conveniently tagged in categories.
- access to our official school Facebook Page and Twitter account @craigburnps
- access to our school calendar, both in agenda view on the sidebar as well as monthly and weekly views on the separate calendar page.
We encourage all families and friends to respond and leave comments on the news blog where relevant, as well as sharing our good news throughout the connected world we live in via the social media widgets on each post. Note that comments do require approval.
Are there topics you’d like us to cover in this blog moving forward? If so, leave a comment.
We trust you find Craigburn Connections a valuable school news service.
