On Sunday morning 60 x Year 7 students and staff will head off to Canberra for a 5 day camp, staying at the Australian Institute of Sport. The Year 7 Canberra Camp is now in its 16th year of operation and is a high valued learning experience for Craigburn Year 7 students.
Students will visit national iconic treasures and participate in education programs at a range of venues including: The Australian War Memorial, High Court of Australia, Australian Parliament House, Royal Australian Mint, National Gallery of Australia, Museum of Australian Democracy, Government House, Electoral Education Centre and Questacon Science Centre.
This is an exciting time for our students to be Canberra, as the nation prepares for the upcoming federal election.
We wish our students and staff a safe, enjoyable and rewarding time away.
