A reminder that this coming Friday 9th June is a student free day (for students only).
Staff will be at school undertaking professional learning related to our school’s learning improvement plan.
Specifically, our teaching and support staff will be involved in professional learning related to whole school reading development, instruction and assessment. Our guest presenter facilitating the staff workshop is Dr Karyn Carson, a speech pathologist and senior lecturer in the area of reading development, from Flinders University.
We also have 2 more student free days occurring on Monday 3rd July (last week of Term 2) and Monday 24th July (first week back of Term 3).
On all of these scheduled student free days, our Out of School Hours Care service will be in operation.
As always, we value the opportunity to further our teaching and learning practice through the use of the four student free days each year (as required by DECD), and thank our Governing Council (on behalf of the school community) for endorsing and supporting them.
