The Finance Committee has recommended to the Governing Council, a nil increase in the Materials and Services charge for 2018. The recommendation is that fees remain at $400, being the same amount for 2017. The Materials and Services charge contributes to the cost of providing essential items and services used or consumed by individual students during the course of their learning. This includes printed and electronic materials, access to books, stationery supplies, curriculum materials, printing and copying for use in the educational program, library resources and ICT resources (including iPad apps). We believe that the annual Materials and Services Charge represents terrific value at approx. $10 per student / school week and remains relatively comparable with many other schools.
The amount and composition of the proposed charges is set out below.
Parents and carers are invited to a meeting to approve the Materials & Services charges for the next school year. This public meeting will be held on Monday the 30th October at 7.00pm in the school staff room prior to the Governing Council meeting. In lieu of attendance, parents can express their views in writing to the chairperson prior to the meeting. Any such correspondence will be tabled at the meeting. If you have any enquiries regarding this please contact Kerrin Burrow (Governing Council Chairperson) or Paul Luke (Principal)
