On Thursday the 5thof July (the last day of term 2) we are challenging our school students to wear tracky dacks or casual clothes to raise money for sick children in hospital. We are donating all of the funds towards the Tracky Dack Day TLC for Kids campaign. TLC for Kids is the leading Australian children’s charity helping sick kids and their families cope with the challenges of everyday life with illness. Upon referral, they give tailored practical and emotional support both in and out of hospital, almost a million times each year. Whether it’s a one-off hospital visit or a prolonged struggle with illness, they are part of the extended support network for sick children, aiming to reduce stress and help everyone face what’s ahead. TLC for kids helps out children in the Women’s & Children’s and The Memorial hospitals, Adelaide, as well as children across Australia. For more information visit: www.tlcforkids.org.au
We hope the students enjoy celebrating our last day of term dressing up in appropriate casual clothes or ‘trackies’ for the benefit of those children in a less fortunate position. Please bring a gold coin donation (or more if you wish) on the day.
