Sporting Schools – Rugby

This term the Year 5 – 7 classes have accessed the Touch 7’s program run by Rugby SA after the school was successful in securing funding as part of Sporting Schools. The six classes are participating in a 5 week program which introduces the  students to the skills and core values required to

Sapsasa Athletics

The Southern Heights District Sapsasa Athletics Carnival was held in Week 5 this term, where 44 Craigburn students competed against 15 other schools at Santos Stadium. The students participated in a range of track (100m, 200m, 800m) and field (shot put, discus, long jump, high jump) events throughout the day.

Sapsasa Knockout netball

Congratulations to our Sapsasa Knockout netball team who won their first game today against Aberfoyle Hub Primary School 20 – 6.  Well done to Beth, Tyla, Holly, Sriya, Jess, Ava, Clara and Erin. The girls next game will be against Woodend Primary School.

Southern Heights Cross Country

Sapsasa Representatives

Congratulations to Patrick A and Lily S who have gained selection into our district Southern Heights Sapsasa Soccer teams. In week 9 this term, both students  will compete in the boys and girls football (soccer) state carnival at  West Beach.

Cross Country

A very successful day at the Sapsasa Southern Heights Cross Country event at Belair National Park. 33 Craigburn students braved the cold wet weather, running 2.5 and 3km with the support of their peers cheering each other on down the home straight. A very big thank you to Stuart Knuckey

Sapsasa Softball

Congratulations to Chloe McKenzie who has gained selection into our district Sapsasa Southern Heights Softball team. We wish  Chloe all the best as she competes  at West Beach  as part of the School Sport SA Softball Sapsasa State Carnival this week.

Sports Day

Sports Day is nearly upon us with the students ready for an exciting day on Friday 23rd March. Wristbands in sports day house colours will be available for students to purchase in week 8.  They will be on sale for $1 from house captains at lunch time at the table outside

Sapsasa Swimming
