Cross Country

Students  interested in participating in our Southern Heights Sapsasa Cross Country Carnival at Belair National Park on Friday 19th May are invited to register their interest on the sign up sheet in the school hall corridor. Sports Day

This year our Sports Day will be held in Term 1, Week 8 Friday 24th March. When students start school at Craigburn they are placed in a sports day team being Bradman (Blue), Fraser (Green), Riley (Red) or Woodforde (Yellow). Year 7 students have a leadership opportunity to nominate for sports

SAPSASA organises and conducts various competitions for primary school students throughout the school year. There are 3 levels of SAPSASA teams/sports: knockout (school based), district and state. Sports Expo R/1 Day

On Monday of Week 5 the Reception and Year 1 classes enjoyed a variety of clinics during our sports expo day to celebrate National Health and Physical Education Week. Activities included: Gymnastics, Air Gym, Soccer, Basketball, Cricket and Wheelchair sports. A jam packed fun filled day for all.

State SAPSASA Representative

Good luck to Ella H, Ella R, Carrie, Jaime and Harry who next week will be representing our Southern Heights SAPSASA district at the state carnivals in Netball and Football. They were selected at netball and football trials from a large number of students from the 15 schools in our district.

SAPSASA Knockout Boys Netball

Craigburn boys knockout netball team played a semi final game against Woodside Primary School in  a match that would see the winner play off in the grand final. Unfortunately the Craigburn boys were not able to come away with a win but are to be congratulated on their performance and sportsmanship
