Buddies Egg Drop Challenge

Over the last three weeks we have been working with our buddies to solve a problem. Mrs Robertson needed to rescue that eggs that she was given by her neighbour. Students were asked to design a package to protect an egg from being dropped over her garden fence. The fence was 2 metres high and the package must only use recycled materials. To begin with the buddies designed the package, then they made it and finally tested it! All the buddies worked really well together and used lots of team work and creativity. We enjoyed testing the packages and seeing if they worked to save the egg. Some eggs did end up with some cracks and some had none! Here are the buddies waiting to test their package:
