  1. Wow you are busy students in room 24! This excursion looks like fantastic fun. It looks like you learned a lot of new and interesting things too. Amelia loved making her bracelet….how about you?

  2. Good job kids! Hope you were all on your best behaviour! I went to primary school in Whyalla. It is a long way from Adelaide.

  3. Margaret-Gran to Trent – sounds like the Migration Museum was very interesting, and helped you understand what it was like in Australia when we arrived in 1971.

  4. Hello everyone.
    I am Harry’s Grandpa-Papa Tim.
It looks like you had a great time at the migration museum. I never had the chance to go to anything like that when I was your age. I grew up in a small country town in NSW and we got to learn about history from something called ‘books’…do you still use them? Just kidding I know you do. Keep up the good work and be nice to your teacher.

  5. Hi Guys
It’s Tracy (Brodie’s Mum) here. Looks like you had a great time at the Migration Museum. Just near that museum is a little cafe where I used to work and we would get lots of visitors who had been to the museum coming in for a cup of coffee or a piece or cake.
Hope you all had fun – and weren’t TOO noisy on the bus!
    Tracy

  6. The Migration Museum are currently collecting information about the Hostels that were used for Immigrants back in the late 1960’s/early 1970’s. Jordan’s Grandparents are one of these families. They came from Scotland. Is there any other children in room 24 that parents/grandparents had to stay in a Hostel????
