We are proud of the achievements of students at our school and we look forward to showcasing some of their work in “Craigburn Connections” as we progress.
Currently we are reviewing our Site Improvement Plan and gathering feedback on our three main areas of focus. These include our work on the Australian Curriculum, Teaching for Effective Learning (ie. pedagogy or methods of teaching) and Learning with Digital Technologies. Staff, students and parents will have the opportunity to provide comments and assist us with our evaluation processes and planning for our next steps over the next few weeks.
We are looking forward to hearing news from several classes that have attended camps this week. It is terrific to see students so excited about participating in these special events. This week two classes have attended camp at Shiloh Hills and another two at Victor Harbor. Many thanks go to the staff who have supported these students, Kristen Bowden, Mike Hanna, Tamsar Bellette, Rob Warncken and Grant Stevens. We also could not have a successful camp without the support of our wonderful parents volunteers. A very big thank you to all parents attending the camps.
The Noarlunga Festival of Music is on next Wednesday, and many of our talented students will be participating. Best wishes to all and thanks to Kerry Rayner for her work with our performers
