We are delighted to announce that we have a Year 4 student, Reuben, who has won a national writing competition entitled: “2015 Colour Your Classroom Writing Competition”. Reuben was presented with his certificate, a trophy and his prize on Monday, 30th November. There was also a $500 prize for the school along with a basket of gifts for the whole class to the value of $500. The prize was presented by Julie Nokes from Officemax, and Sam Di Bacco from Papermate-Sharpie. Thanks to Kristen Bowden who introduced the competition to her class.
Reuben wrote an essay about “What I want to be when I grow up”. Reuben declared that he wants to be a scientist. Well done Reuben!
What a great achievement Reuben. You must be so proud of yourself. Keep up the good work. Perhaps we will read your novel in the future.
Well done, my son. Mommy’s so very proud of you! Now to write your first novel.
