We thank all parents and carers who have taken time to consider their child’s / children’s participation in the Voluntary BYO iPad program at Craigburn and completed the ‘online expression of interest form.’
At our recent acquaintance evening – teachers provided a summarised handout of our initiative to families who may not yet have taken the time to consider their child’s / children’s participation. Please refer to the full program information here, which was made available to parents and carers in November 2015.
As we approach the middle part of Term 1 we are finalising the induction program which will commence from Week 7, after the Adelaide Cup long weekend.
Please note – specific dates and timelines regarding the phased-in induction program are set to be published by the end of next week (5) and forwarded to parents / carers who have submitted an expression of interest.
At this point in time we request that students do not bring their iPad to school until the induction program has taken place.
One of the key elements of the induction program will be the introduction of a new ‘iPad Responsible / Acceptable Use Agreement for students and parents’ and an updated ‘Internet Use Agreement.’ Further information regarding these and other guidelines are outlined on Page 9 of the Voluntary BYO iPad program information to parents.
We look forward to formally launching our iPad program with students and families in coming weeks.
