Yesterday, our Performing Arts Showcase was held in the school hall with a technical performance in the morning, followed by a full performance in the evening.
It was a real privilege to see a such a talented group of students showcasing their incredible musical and artistic skills to an audience, mainly of families of performing students.
Congratulations and well done to all students who brought out their very best performance.
All students invested considerable time and effort to rehearse their act/s under the guidance, support and tuition of Kerry Rayner (Performing Arts Teacher) and instrumental music teachers, Sarah Bradley and Cassandra Boath.
I would like to especially acknowledge and thank Kerry for her leadership and work in coordinating the showcase. Kerry has worked with hundreds of students over many years at Craigburn to develop their performing and artistic skills. It was certainly showcased on the night.
Special mentions and thank yous to comperes, Kelly and Sam, the stage crew, student ushers, and the Pedal Prix team for providing coffee and cake – all providing valuable support.
