This term I am working with the year 4 and 5 class in STEM. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. We are focusing in the Science strand and in particular Geology.
Students have been discovering the wonderful world of geology, theories on how the world began and what the world is made up of.
The students have been studying the different types of rocks and how they were formed. Rocks are like history to geologists and can tell us a lot about our world. In this photo, children are classifying rocks into igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. Can you tell the difference? Ask your child.
