Pupil Free Days / School Closure – Reminder

Our Governing Council (at recent meeting) has endorsed the next pupil free day for Friday 6th July, being the last day of Term 2. On this day, teachers will be undertaking a professional learning day focussed on STEM and the Digital Technologies curriculum – facilitated by a STEM consultant from Adelaide University.

A reminder, that the following days have been previously endorsed, coinciding with either side of the first weekend of the Royal Adelaide Show.

  • Friday 31st August – School Closure
  • Monday 3rd September – Pupil Free Day – Staff will be working with 2 other Partnership Schools on Learning Design Assessment & Moderation.

We also have 1 more student free day yet to be determined.

On all scheduled pupil free days, our Out of School Hours Care service will be in operation.

NB: There is no pupil free day on the Friday before the Queens Birthday weekend.

As always, we value the opportunity to further our teaching and learning practice through the use of the four student free days each year (as required by the department, and endorsed by our Governing Council.
