We are well into Term 3 with much happening across the school. Students and staff continue to participate in a range of activities and events in addition to their regular learning programs.
This week marks School Service Officers (SSO) Week on our school calendar, where we acknowledge our SSOs for their ongoing work and efforts. At Craigburn, we are fortunate to have a team of dedicated support staff who support both the administration / management of the school as well as a myriad of learning support programs.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this week’s weekly wrap to keep up to date with school happenings.

Reminders
- School Closure (Royal Adelaide Show) – Friday 30th August.
- Student Free Day – Monday 2nd September.
- Lost property is continuing to build up again – please check for any items that may have been misplaced.
- To support our planning for 2020, we would like students / families who will be not at Craigburn in 2020 to contact the school via phone 8270 4144 or email dl.1226.admin@schools.sa.edu.au This does not include any current Year 7 students. Thank you.
- 2020 Reception Enrolments / Transition – Families that have a sibling enrolment for 2020 will receive a transition letter in the Term 3, which will outline information for transition visits, which will occur over three consecutive Wednesdays 13th, 20th and 27th of November.
- Excursions / Camps Update – As per the recent post we have recently reviewed our excursions and camps consent forms to align with departmental procedures and are unable to continue offering the signing facility through the Qkr! App for consent. However, payment can still easily be made through the Qkr! App. Parents/Caregivers will be required to complete and sign the yellow consent form after having carefully read the information. Forms are then to be returned to the school. Any consent forms that have been submitted via Qkr! prior to Monday 29th July, 2019 will still be accepted. Students will not be able to attend any excursions/camps where a yellow consent form has not been returned to the school.
