School Closure – Friday 6th November – Meet and Support Your Local Community

As mentioned in previous communications, a school closure has been set for Friday 6th November – the day after Sports Day.

Each year, school governing councils are able to approve one school closure day per year as a ‘day of local significance.’

Traditionally, Craigburn like many other schools has this day earmarked in their calendars within the week of the Royal Adelaide Show. However, this year due to COVID, the Show was cancelled.

Last term, our school governing council discussed an alternative ‘day of local significance’ being one to ‘meet and support the local community’ – this year set for Friday 6th November.

In support of this day, we are preparing a flyer for families to promote and advertise a range of local activities, services and businesses.

If you would like us to promote and include your service / business in the flyer, please contact the front office by email or phone 8270 4144 with your details and any promotional offers.

We ask for this to be done by no later than 12.00pm on Monday 26th October.

Thank you for your support.
