Dear Families
This week, we begin formal preparations for the start of the school year with staff returning to school on Thursday and Friday.
As you would be aware, the start of the school year will be heavily impacted by the current COVID situation.
In our last post, we asked parents and caregivers to complete a Start of the Year Learning Survey, which will help us plan for the first 2 weeks of our return to school.
Thank you to those who have completed the survey. At this stage we have just over 50% completion.
If you have not already done so, please complete the survey as soon as possible, especially if your child is in years 2-6 and/or requires supervision on the Monday 31 January to Tuesday 2 February.
Information from last Friday’s announcements (Department for Education) will be posted later today (Monday).
Further information regarding supervision arrangements for children of essential workers for next Monday and Tuesday, will be provided later this week.
Information regarding the years 2-6 remote online learning program and reception / year 2 face to face learning program, to follow early next week.
Thank you for checking in with this information and for your ongoing understanding and support. We are aware that there are many complexities to consider for families and staff in returning to school for the start of the new year. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
Stay safe and keep well.
Kind regards, Paul
