Basketball

Coordinator – Lisa Schembri

Great news! – A big thank you to Lisa Schembri who has kindly volunteered to take on the role of Basketball Coordinator for this year. If your child is interested in playing please watch for information and registration updates that will be shared in the near future.

Soccer

Coordinator – Taryn Edwards

School soccer is available for both boys and girls from Reception to Year 7.

For students in Year 2-6, fixtures and rules of play are governed by the Southern District Junior Soccer Association (SDJSA). Games for children in the Under 8s to Seniors are played on a Saturday morning between 8am and 12pm and begin in the early part of Term 2.  They are played at home on our oval or away at other school facilities. Training is normally one night a week after school.

For students in Reception and Year 1, children play in the non-competitive Aliens team. Aliens train once a week at a time determined by the coach.

Netball

Coordinator – Position Vacant

Thank you to Tamara and Rachel who did a fantastic job last year coordinating netball. We are looking for a new coordinator(s) in 2022. Please contact rob.warncken732@schools.sa.edu.au if interested.

School netball is available for both for girls and boys from Year 2 and above, commencing in early Term 2. The season is organised by the Southern Area Junior Netball Association with games being played in Terms 2 and 3 on Saturday mornings at varying times and local school venues. The season commences in week 2 of Term 2 and concludes in week 6  of Term 3, there are 13 rounds.  Saturday morning games are 9.00am for the older teams (years 4- 6 generally) and 10.00am for the younger teams (years 2 and 3 generally).

Cricket

AFL Auskick

Coordinator – Position vacant

Thank you to Jason who did a wonderful job coordinating Auskick at Craigburn in 2021. We are looking for a new coordinator(s) in 2022. Please contact rob.warncken732@schools.sa.edu.au if interested.

NAB AFL Auskick is an introduction into the world of Australian Football. Auskick is inclusive for everyone aged 5-12 at any ability to play. Super fun game-based activities with a footy twist tailored for different skill levels.  Participants receive an Auskick pack filled with footy goodies and personalised items, an Auskick Junior Membership for their AFL club of support (with access to attend AFL matches) and the opportunity to play at half-time at AFL Men’s and AFLW matches.

COVID Classroom Contact:

Please note that if your child(ren) becomes a COVID class contact they must follow the SA Health advice (as per the email parents/caregivers receive) and not attend any extra curricular school activities or events for that 7 day period. This includes any training or games.
