School Sport SA (Sapsasa) Update

Term 2 has started off full of Sapsasa opportunities for our students.

Mountain Bike Team’s Championship: In the first week of the term 8 Craigburn students participated in the Mountain Bike event at Craigburn Farm. A great experience for the 3 teams of boys competing against other Year 5/6 primary school teams from across the state. The boys total teams results had them finish 13th from 33 schools in the  overall schools championship trophy. Thanks Mr Fergusson for supporting the students at the event.

Cross Country: Over 40 students participated in the Southern Heights Cross Country event at Belair National Park on 24th May. Great effort by all involved with the Craigburn spirit supporting and cheering each other so amazing to see. Thanks to Mr Fergusson and Eddie Bye for training the students in the lead up to the event. Craigburn celebrated with 7 top 6 finishers who are through to the State day at Oakbank this Thursday representing our Southern Heights district.
