Our Student Representative Council (SRC) recently met to discuss and decide on the end of term casual day fundraiser.
As we approach bushfire season in the Adelaide Hills, SRC members agreed that it was important to recognise and support the wonderful volunteers of our local Country Fire Services at Cherry Gardens and Coromandel Valley.
Aren, Year 4 student in C14, suggested that the casual day dress theme should be to wear something red, orange and yellow – being the colours that represent the country fire service volunteers. An excellent suggestion Aren!
We hope that on Friday 30 September, students can wear casual clothes with a touch of red, orange and yellow – and bring along a gold coin(s) donation for us to share with the Cherry Gardens and Coromandel Valley Country Fire Services.
