Jordan Sparrow, a year 6 student from Miss Grant’s class, is about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime-representing Australia in ice hockey in Singapore.
“I am feeling really happy about playing for Australia,” said Jordan, who has been playing ice hockey since he was 6 years old.
“My favourite thing about ice hockey is scoring goals.”
Jordan will be playing for the Australian Allstars, competing against Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and others from across the Asia Pacific.

Jordan leaves for Singapore on Monday with his mum and younger sister.
