“Our Sports Day team is actually named after the famous tennis player Mark Woodforde. He played doubles tennis with Todd Woodbridge and won five straight Wimbledon titles between 1993 and 1997.  He was ranked the number one doubles player for 84 weeks. Mark Woodforde became a professional tennis player in 1984 and retired in the year 2000. There is a bronze statue of him at Melbourne Park with other famous tennis players. He is now providing commentary for the tennis on Fox Sports and ESPN.”
