The Weekly Wrap 2023 – Term 3 Week 3 – 2023

Congratulations and well done to all students and families who participated at Race 4 of the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series at Tailem Bend on Saturday.

First and foremost, a big round of applause goes out to our senior students who were part of the Craigburn Crew’sers pedal prix team in 2023 – representing Craigburn with pride and showing lots of determination on the racetrack.

To the parents involved, your encouragement and assistance in supporting your child’s participation has been greatly appreciated. A special mention and thank you to:

  • Ryan Ratzmer for transporting the pedal prix bikes to and from the race days and for excellent ontrack assistance.
  • Nathan Fokkens and Mark Nakervill for their wonderful support in trackside marshalling.

And, of course , a very big shout out to our dedicated teacher, Tristan Fergusson, for leading this year’s team and pedal prix program. Tristan’s commitment to nurturing students’ talents and instilling values of teamwork and discipline has laid a strong foundation for their future participation in the pedal prix program at Craigburn.

We also like to acknowledge our team’s sponsors  VALIO and Jacobs Tyres and More for their generous sponsorship of our Pedal Prix teams.

The Department for Education’s annual parent survey

The Department for Education coordinates an annual survey to better understand the things we’re doing well, where we can improve, and what’s important to you as a parent. The information we collect from this survey is driving change for the department.

Beginning last Monday 31 July, you should have received an email or SMS from the Parent Survey Team with a unique link to participate in the survey.

We highly encourage you to complete the survey, which takes less than 10 minutes.

Your feedback will be used locally in our school improvement planning and more broadly to inform other key initiatives to improve education in South Australia. Your answers will not identify you or your child. Only collated feedback will be provided to our school.

If you did not receive an email or SMS with your unique survey link, contact education.ParentSurvey@sa.gov.au and include our school’s name in your email.

For more information visit the Department for Education website.
