Book Week 2023

We are looking forward to celebrating our annual Book Week from Monday 21 August through to Friday 25 August.

This year’s theme, Read, Grow, Inspire’, encapsulates the essence of what Book Week is all about.

Please join us for our annual exciting Book Week Dress Up Parade, which will be held outside (weather permitting) on the bottom court adjacent to the amphitheatre – starting at 9.15am.

We can’t wait to see you there, sharing in the joy of storytelling and imagination.

Book Week Author Visits

We’re thrilled to announce some amazing guest visits during Book Week.

In week 5, Wednesday 23 August, we have Danny Snell, the talented illustrator behind captivating books such as ‘Jeremy’, ‘Seagull’ and ‘Somewhere in Australia’. Our younger students are in for a treat as they interact with Danny.

In Week 6 (Monday August 28) we have our own Craigburn PS parent renowned author, Adam Cece, coming to visit our older students.  Students are in for an enlightening experience, discovering the magic that brings Adam’s books to life.

We look forward to meeting Danny and Adam and learning about how books are created and brought to life for us to enjoy.
