At our recent end of term assembly, we shared information about our upcoming whole school event, ‘The School Run4Fun Colour Splatacular,’ – our major fundraiser for 2023.
Aside from having lots of fun being splashed in colour, this event is an opportunity for us to raise funds to support a fantastic cause, 🌱Building an outdoor kitchen in our school garden 🌱
Just over 15 years ago, our school community came together to raise money for the construction of our ‘environmental learning centre / school garden’ – for the betterment and enjoyment of our school community.
Since then, our school garden has grown to be a hub of environmental learning.
To take our garden to the next level, we are aiming to build an outdoor kitchen – a space where our students can learn about nutrition, cook garden-fresh produce, and develop a deeper appreciation for sustainable living.
To achieve our aim of building an outdoor kitchen, we encourage all students and families to seek donations and contribute to our ‘School Run4Fun Colour Splatacular.’
Please check the information and sponsorship booklet that was sent home on the last day of term. Students (with parent help) can create their online profile at www.australianfundraising.com.au
Students who were absent on the last day of term / week will receive their information and booklet on Monday.
