The Weekly Wrap 2024 – Term 2 Week 8 – 2024

Gratitude Leaders help to fill the Gratitude basket in the front office

We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the Gratitude basket at Craigburn PS. At any time you can make a donation to help someone less fortunate than you.

The more donations we receive the more baskets we can make up and share with people in need.

Thank you to everyone that has used this over the past 12 months, we really appreciate it and enjoy helping others.

Weekend Netball Result

Year 3/4 Craigburn Blue V Hawthorndene 7-6

We hosted Hawthorndene at home again this weekend and it was our turn to come away with a win by one point this time! It was a challenging cold and wet first half with only 1 goal being scored overall. With everyone warmed up and ready for the second half we came together as a team and managed to score 7 goals with a big celebration for Chloe’s first netball goal in the 3rd quarter!

Lost Property

The lost property storage area adjacent to the canteen is beginning to build.  When at school, please take a moment to check for any missing items.

Afternoon Traffic

Please remember to:

  • adhere to local traffic and parking regulations during afternoon pick up at the kiss and drop zone off Murrays Hill Rd and on Heath Lane.
  • refrain from stopping and waiting on Murrays Hill Rd, nor to the entrance of the zone – as this causes congestion and a bank up of traffic.
  • continue through the zone if you are unable to manage a short term park to collect your child/ren
  • contact the front office if you are running late beyond 3.30pm when school staff finish their duty – your child/ren will be taken to the front office and will wait to be collected.
