2021 Senior Choir update

The Craigburn Primary senior choir has had a great start to the year with lots of new faces and many returning students.

In 2021 we welcome Eleanor Ellis as our new choir teacher, and welcome back Felicity Williams, who returns as our piano accompanist.

Choir rehearsals are held in the Performing Arts room every Thursday afternoon from 1:30 – 2:30.

The Festival of Music performance will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in September this year, with a specific date yet to be determined.

Invoices will be sent out to all interested students in week 7, to be returned by Thursday week 10, April 1st.
Choir songbooks and access to the Festival of Music app will be given to students upon payment.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.

Welcome to Performing Arts 2021

Welcome to all the Craigburn families!

I will be teaching all students Performing Arts for 50 or 70 minute lessons, once a week.

So what exactly will Performing Arts look like in 2021?

Students can expect to learn a combination of music, drama and media arts in my room. We will be using a range of tuned and untuned instruments, making films, writing and performing musical and dramatic pieces, using our voices, bodies and instruments to communicate ideas.

I’m really looking forward to getting started and creating some excellent work with everyone this year!
