New Devices

Our whole school has recently bought lots of new iPods and iPads for each class to use. We have 5 iPods and 5 iPads to use to support our learning during class activities. We are sharing these devices with all of the Year 2 and 3 classes. We’ve loved having extra devices to use. Check our blog page listing the apps we love to use – you may like to download some for yourselves.

  1. Hi I am from 2C Castle Cove Pubblic School.

I think your School is lucky because your School gets 10 Ipods all together.

How does it help you learn in your class?

    • Hi
We have 10 ipads and 10 iPods just for the year 2/3 students. Each group of students has the same – so there are 50 of each across our whole school. Some children also bring theirs from home to use. Our class had an extra 5 iPads to use as well – we’re pretty lucky.
We use lots of different apps in our learning – we write stories using StoryKit and Puppet Pals. We’ve just made claymation stories using iStop motion – which was lots of fun. One of our favourite apps is Pearl Diver and Super 7 for Maths and we love Word Wizard in spelling tasks.
Thanks for commenting on our blog.

    • Hi Wolf,
We love using any devices or computers in our classes at Craigburn Primary.
Our school uses Apple products and so it was great to have iPods and iPads in classes.
