As we start Semester 2 we have elected new representatives for our Student Representative Council (SRC).
Congratulations to Lauren and Coby our new reps!
Our back up reps are Matilda and Oz – congratulations to them too.
It was wonderful to see 8 students nominate themselves to make a speech to our class and explain why they felt they would be a good rep for our class. We look forward to these students representing our class at meetings with Mr Warncken and the other class reps.

We look forward to Jonathan and Bella being responsible, organised representatives for our class during class meetings and whole school SRC meetings with Mr Warncken.
Our reserves are Kyah and Harrison – in case one of our reps is away they’ll take their place.
Today our class elected the new SRC Reps for our class. They will represent our class for the next 2 terms at SRC meetings with Mr Warncken and help run our class meetings. I’m sure you’ll represent our class really thoroughly.

Last Friday our school had a whole school fundraiser for our World Vision student, John Sebunya. Our SLEG students organised this day, along with our class SRC Reps. Each student was asked to come to school dressed in their pyjamas and make a gold coin donation towards World Vision. We had a great day, with lots of fun activities.
