Learning @ Home – STEM

Overview: Your objective is to s t r e t c h your Scratch/ block-coding skills

Your Task:

  1. Set an overall goal for your Scratch learning. You should aim to make either;
  • Amination Script
  • Game Script
  • Interactive Poster / Story Script

You might already be able to make these types of scripts. So how can you stretch your skills and make them even more complex?

SHARE YOUR GOAL (A FEW SENTENCES ONLY) IN SEASAW – IN YOUR STEM/SCIENCE FOLDER

  1. How will you make your first step toward your goal? It doesn’t matter if you are not going to complete a script in the next few sessions, you might need to start with a very simple tutorial. Have a browse through the tutorials and decide how you are going to make your next step.

SHARE YOUR NEXT STEP (WHICH TUTORIALS YOU WILL COMPLETE) IN SEASAW

  1. Work on your tutorials and start your own script. When you get stuck, look for tutorials, Scratch Help, do an internet search or ask an adult. Be persistent! Save your script and share it on Seasaw.

SHARE YOUR SCRIPT AND WRITE A FEW SENTENCES ABOUT YOUR LEARNING IN SEASAW
