On Friday we were very fortunate to have a visit from Sue Harris, an ambassador for the Premier’s Reading Challenge and Carmel Jones the manager of the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Sue a puppeteer and storyteller showed her puppets and spoke about the importance of reading. Carmel encouraged everyone to complete the challenge, fill in their reading record sheet and hand them in. All reading records need to be given to your teacher or to the library by 4th September. Congratulations to all students who have completed the challenge.
In 2014, 327 students completed the Challenge which is 69 % of all students. Craigburn has been participating in the PRC for 11 years, and this year will be our 12th!
