Dear Students,
Gala Day is almost here! This fun and exciting event lets you be creative, work with your friends, and even run your very own stall. It’s like having your own market!
Here’s what you need to know:
- When: Monday 2nd December
- Where: Around the undercover areas near Blocks B, D, and E
- Who can participate? Students in Years 3–6 can run stalls.
- Everyone gets to visit!
Stalls
- Choose from Food, Activity, or Craft stalls.
- Work in groups of at least two.
- If you want to run a stall, make sure your group submits the nomination form by Thursday 21st November to Mrs Taylor.
What You’ll Learn
- By running a stall, you’ll learn important skills like teamwork, problem-solving, advertising, and how to manage money.
Visiting Stalls
- Bring some coins to spend at the stalls. We suggest up to $5 for younger students and up to $10 for older students.
- Most items will cost between 20c and $1.
Not Permitted
- High sugar food / drinks, nerf guns, face painting, henna tattoos, cosmetics / make-up / hair stalls.
Important
- If you would like to manage a stall please come along to the Gala Day Stall Holder meeting at Recess on Tuesday 19th November
- Be creative with your ideas—let’s make this Gala Day the best one yet!
