We’ve had a a dedicated group of coders coming along on Friday lunchtime coding Club sessions. It’s great to see students from Reception to Year 7 coding with us and working together so well. It’s also great to have lots of new members in our group – please come along if you haven’t tried it yet.
Coding is a great way for each student to learn how to:
- collaborate and work with others
- communicate with others through coding a story/ game
- be a critical thinker – be a problem solver
- be creative and
- become more fluent when using technology.
We’ve been using Minecraft, Scratch, Beebots and the Beebot apps as our platform for coding.
If you have any future suggestions for Coding Club please chat with Miss Grant or Miss Sporn so we can try to include your ideas.
