2026 Festival of Music Opportunities

Dear Craigburn Primary families,

Some exciting opportunities are available for students who would like to be involved in the Festival of Music in 2026.

Songbook Cover Competition

Students are invited to design the Songbook Cover for the Festival of Music 2026. One winner will have their artwork professionally incorporated for the Songbook Cover for 2026 on the website and the app, concert programs, certificates and more.

This competition is open to ALL students in years 4-6, not just choir students. Please see Mr Marin for more information and entry forms.

Troupe Pre-Audition Workshop

The troupe are a performance group that performs alongside the choir in the Festival of Music.  2026 Troupe auditions will be in Term 1. There will be a pre-audition workshop on Thursday 13th November (week 5), 4:30 – 5:30pm for interested students.

Host Pre-Audition Workshop

Hosts present at Festival of Music concerts. They have clear speaking voices, expressive personalities and create a positive rapport with the audience. If your children is interested in being a host in 2026, there will be pre-audition workshops on the 25th and 26th of November (week 7). Book your spot below.

Orchestra Opportunities

Being a part of the Festival of Music orchestra is a great opportunity for musicians to be a part of the show, even as they enter their high school years, as it is open for students from years 5 – 11. Book an audition by following the link below.

SAPPS Choir Auditions

All choir students are encouraged to take the next step and join The SAPPS Choir, Adelaide’s Public Primary School SHOWCASE CHOIR for students in Years 5, 6 & 7.

The South Australian Public Primary Schools (SAPPS) Choir is the showcase choir for the Primary Schools Music Festival (PSMF) and the SA Department for Education.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday 11 November and Wednesday 19 November at PSMF Klemzig, 28 Hay Street, Klemzig.
