This year, our school has continued to focus on gratitude and giving back to others, showing how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Our SRC are supporting the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal, helping families in our community who are experiencing hardship during the holiday season.
To support the appeal, we will be holding a Christmas-themed Casual Clothes Day on Friday, 13th December. Rather than a gold coin donation, we invite families to contribute non-perishable food items that will be donated directly to the Salvation Army. A suggested items list is attached to assist with choosing suitable donations.
During Week 9, students can place their donated items under the Christmas tree in the school library, with all contributions required by Friday, 13th December.
For our final casual day, students are encouraged to get festive in whatever way feels right for them—this could be:
-
school uniform with a Christmas touch,
-
casual clothes with a festive element, or
-
a full Christmas-themed outfit!
Thank you for helping us spread kindness and support families in need this Christmas.
