A warm welcome to our new and returning families for our 2026 school year!
As a reminder, Craigburn Primary is currently (and excitedly!) undergoing a transition to our long-awaited refreshed uniform.
So, what does this look like for you? How does this impact on what you can buy at the Second-hand Uniform Shop (SHUS)?
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions that may assist you coming into the new school year:
What has changed about the uniform?
Craigburn Primary has a refreshed new school logo, which we are excited to see reflected on our uniform. We have updated the fabric of our polo tops to include more cotton for breathability and comfort, and they are now consistent in their designs. Our jumper has been modernised with distinctive gold bands on the cuffs and the removal of the middle panel with the school’s name (which is now discreetly on the back). Our jacket is now fleece-lined, waterproof and is also more consistent in its design to the jumper.
Where can I get the “new” uniform?
Uniforms can be delivered directly to school for free (to be collected from the Front Office, or sent home with your child), or delivered to your door (for a postage fee).
Can I wear my “new” uniform now?
YES! You can wear any new uniform items from DAY 1, Term 1. We can’t wait to see you all in our brand new updated uniform!
Can I still wear my “old” uniform?
YES! The pre-existing uniform (with the old logo) can still be worn at this stage.
How long can I still wear my “old” uniform?
We are still finalising the details for the transition from ‘old to new’ uniform dates. We will send out a communication to all families/caregivers as soon as this has been finalised.
Can I still donate/sell my “old” uniform in the SHUS?
The SHUS will continue to accept any donations of official Craigburn PS uniform items (old or new logo).
However, we will NOT accept any consignments for the short/long sleeve polo tops, ¼ zip jumper, jackets and school bags with the old logo on them. We ask that you responsibly dispose of these items where possible.
We will continue to consign any dresses and “new” uniform items with the updated logo.
Can I get any “new” uniform items from the SHUS?
Unfortunately, not at this stage. Our stock levels are based on the generous donations from our community. Keep an eye out throughout the year as students grow, and come and go.
Please feel free to contact the Front Office if you have any questions regarding the transition from our old uniform to our refreshed updated uniform. We are more than happy to help.
