The Weekly Wrap – Term 1 Week 11 – 2025

As Term 1 comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to thank all Craigburn families for your ongoing support and involvement in school life.

It’s been a busy and productive start to the year, with students engaging in a wide range of learning experiences and school events. We greatly appreciate your partnership in helping make these opportunities meaningful and successful for our students.

A big thank you also goes to our teaching and support staff, who have worked tirelessly to deliver quality learning programs and maintain a positive, supportive environment for all students.  We’re proud of how our students have settled into their classes and learning routines over the term.

We wish everyone a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable Easter break and look forward to seeing students return refreshed and ready for another great term of learning.

Sports Day – Thanks

We extend our thanks to all students, staff, and families who played a part in creating such an enjoyable Sports Day. The community spirit was on full display, with strong attendance from families and friends, along with perfect weather setting the scene for a wonderful day of fun and friendly competition.

Congratulations (again) to Woodforde, who claimed the Sports Day Shield for the fifth consecutive year. Well done to Fraser, Riley, and Bradman – for showing great determination and team spirit throughout the day.

We’d especially like to recognise Karen Pettman for her outstanding attention to detail in organising the event. Her work behind the scenes, supported by the Be Active Leaders,  Sports Day Committee, canteen staff, and our amazing parent volunteers, ensured the day ran smoothly from start to finish.

A special mention goes to all students who participated with such enthusiasm and pride in their house teams. A special shout out to our Be Active leaders, whose teamwork, energy, and leadership over the past few weeks were on full display as they led rehearsals for the Health Hustle and team chants, energising their peers and setting the tone for the day. We also appreciated their early arrival on Friday morning to assist with setting up.

A huge well done to everyone involved – your contributions made this year’s Sports Day one to remember.

Easter Raffle

Thank you to the families who have donated to our annual Easter raffle, which will be drawn at our end of term assembly on Friday 11th April.  We continue to welcome donations for the raffle and ask that these are dropped to the front office. Extra raffle tickets can be picked up from the front office.

Early Morning Arrival

Students are allowed to start arriving at school from 8:30am, unless attending OSHC. Students who are on the school grounds before 8.30am will be directed to the front office as teachers are not on duty prior to this time.
