Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Being a soloist is a wonderful opportunity to sing or rap in the Stars in the Arena Concerts, with the large, massed choir, orchestra and troupe, at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Term 3.

This year’s solos are in Learning to Fly (x2), Come Together (x2), J’entends Le Moulin, The Bee Bop (solo rap and solo scat), Won’t Look Down, Put a Little Love in Your Heart, You’re the Voice (x2).

Auditions are held at primary schools during school hours (Term 2, Week 6):

Monday, 2nd June – Klemzig PS;
Tuesday, 3rd June – TBC venue;
Wednesday, 4th June – Hendon PS;
Thursday, 5th June – Salisbury Heights PS;
Friday, 6th June – digital & online

Choir Teachers must nominate students who want to audition, and can ONLY nominate students to audition for a solo for their school concert day ONLY. Only 2 students per school are permitted to audition.

I will be holding an in-school audition process on Thursday week 2, 8th May, 2:30 pm for any students interested in auditioning for a solo. Students should come prepared, knowing their chosen solo(s) well enough to sing confidently.
