It was wonderful to see so many current and former students and families visit Craigburn on Election Day.
The Day was made more special with delicious coffee and cake, along with a yummy sausage sizzle and cold drinks stall. A huge shout out to all who contributed – baking cakes / treats, helping cook the sausage sizzle and serving food, coffee and drinks.
Please look out for our Daily Grind team who will be serving barista made coffee on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 7.30am.

Swimming Week Thanks
We would like to give a big shoutout to all the parents who volunteered their time to help out with the Reception to Year 2 swimming program last week – we truly appreciated it. The success of extra-curricular programs such as swimming week are not possible without parent volunteer support. Thank you for your support.
Mother’s Day Gift Stall
A reminder that our annual Mothers’ Day Stall will be held at school on Wednesday 7th May. Lots of great bargains for students to purchase a special ‘Mother’s Day’ gift will be available. Children can bring pocket money (maximum $10) and a small bag to carry their gifts. Further details here.
We would greatly appreciate parent volunteers to help with the Gift Stall on Wednesday morning. If you can help out, even for just 30 minutes or so, please email Bron / Hayley at the front office on dl.1226.admin@schools.sa.edu.au

Our School Mural Is Coming to Life!
We’re excited to announce that a beautiful new mural will be painted at our school over the next week or two, created in collaboration with talented mural artist Nicky (Nicky Create).
The mural will feature native bird and plant life, with ideas and inspiration provided by our student environment leaders. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the natural beauty of our local environment through art.
Make sure to check out the mural as it takes shape on the back of the gym wall overlooking the school oval – it’s going to be something special!

Shout-Out to Our Amazing Library Team
A huge thank you to our wonderful library school service officers (SSOs), Krysten and Emily, for their incredible efforts in creating such a warm, welcoming, and engaging library space for our students. Their creativity, care, and dedication have made the library a hub of curiosity, imagination, and learning.
We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to our parent volunteers, whose support helps keep everything running smoothly — from shelving books to assisting with activities. Your contributions make a real difference and are deeply appreciated.
Thank you all for helping make our library a special place to read, explore, and connect.
A reminder too, save the date for our upcoming Book Fair in early June.
