Congratulations to the 46 Craigburn students who participated in the Southern Heights Sapsasa Cross Country event at Belair National Park on Tuesday. In beautiful sunny weather, the students gathered to support each other while putting in the hard work to run 2 or 3kms after months of training around the National Park.
A very big thank you to Mr Fergusson for the hours of training with the students in the lead up to the event. Sapsasa days are also not possible without our parent volunteers, thank you to Annika R, Satima H and Merissa D who assisted with marshalling around the track and supervision of the students. Once again the Craigburn students are to be congratulated for their strong cheering along the finish line and support for one another.
Congratulations to Olivia H finishing in 2nd place and Zahara H in 4th place who will both now be part of the Southern Heights district team at the Cross Country State Championships at Oakbank Racecourse in June.
