Physical Education Week promotes and highlights the importance of Health & PE in the Australian Curriculum to the learning and development of children and young people.
At Craigburn the Year 6 Be Active Leaders have been busy planning for the week, which will be celebrated in Week 5 from Monday 10th – Friday 14th November. There will be daily activities the students can participate in both in the classroom and outside. On Friday 14th November the students are encouraged to come to school dressed in a sports team uniform/colours or as a favourite sports person. Keep an eye out for some specials from the canteen to help celebrate PE Week.
PE WEEK
- Daily quizzes in the student notices
- Design a sports uniform or piece of sporting equipment
- Positive Comment door. Think of a positive comment you could use at a sporting event or during a game as either a spectator or player. Write it in a coloured speech bubble and add it to the gym door

- Scavenger Hunt around the school, R-2, Yr 3-4 and Yr 5-6
- Yoga in the gym at recess and lunch. led by the Be Active Leaders
