“Double Fudge” is a hilarious book written and illustrated by Judy Blume. It is the 5th book in the amusing Fudge series which is published by McMillan Children’s Books.
This book is about a 12 year old boy called Peter who lives in the city with his younger brother Fudge, his baby sister Tootsie and his parents. In this particular book Fudge is obsessed with money and anything to do with it. When Peter’s best friend moves to Soho to live in the artists’ loft with his father, well that’s when things rev up. Peter’s family think that Fudge’s obsession will end if he learns about its meaning but when they take him to the mint in Washington D.C his obsession just elevates from there!
I think this is an awesome book and by far the best in the series. I recommend it to boys and girls from age 8-11!
