“The Floods 1: Neighbours” is the first hilarious exciting book in a series called: “The Floods”. This hilarious series is written and illustrated by Colin Thompson and published by Random House Australia Publishing.

The Floods are an odd family of witches and wizards who live right next to a really annoying and loud family called the Dents. The Floods find the Dent family very annoying, destructive and interfering so they go over to their house and negotiate. But the Dents like their lifestyle and they won’t negotiate so they unchain their fierce dog “Rambo”. Just when he is about to attack the Flood turn him into a cute Chihuahua that bites the Dent family. Soon the Dent family creeps into the Flood’s house one by one…

TO BE TURNED INTO USEFUL ITEMS FOR THE HOUSE!!!

The Floods end up buying the Dents’ house for $10.10. Once the Floods move in the smartest Flood decides to make an amazing machine which makes the Dents’ house a mirror image of the Floods’ original house!!!

“The Floods 1: Neighbours” is a fantastic, funny book that’s worthwhile reading. I think it’s one of THE BEST books I’ve ever read and recommend it to 9 year old to HOW EVER LONG YOU CAN LIVE!!!
