Frau Hook’s Year 1 class have done an amazing job with their German family trees!
First the students drafted information about each family member into their German books and then rewrote the information on leaves. One leaf per family member!
The information they needed to include were who the person was and their name.
Next they glued the leaves onto their tree, added a title and any other detail they wanted.
Finally a photo was taken of their tree, this image was put into the Story Creator app. They were then recorded speaking about one family member.
Please watch and comment on the class video. The children did such a fantastic job and should be very proud of themselves.
Zachary liked to hear himself speaking German about his family tree on this blog.
I can’t get your videos to work. 🙁
Hi Libby, that’s a shame they’re not working for you! A couple of families have had trouble but on the most part they’ve worked. The link right down at the bottom of the post should work so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be. Perhaps try a different device? I’m not sure what else I can tweak to get it working for you!
