We have been very busy in the classroom looking at some of the books that have been shortlisted for Book Week Awards. One of the books we have read lately is “The Stone Lion” by Margaret Wild. We have been using this book as a chance to develop some skills associated with Bloom’s Taxonomy. This book features a statue of a Stone Lion as one of the main characters.
