Room 4 thinks that dinosaurs became extinct because:
a meteor arrived, a volcano erupted, a big storm came and they all blew away, the weather got too cold, meat eaters started eating each other, the plants all died out because it got too hot, a huge boulder fell down from the sky and squashed them.

We think that a meteorite collided with the Earth causing a big explosion and made the temperature change which altered the habitat for the dinosaurs. The meteorite crashed in Mexico and the shockwave caused a huge dust storm and a shower of sparks. We think the large dinosaurs became extinct first because they were taller and this meant they couldn’t survive in the air which was full of dust and ash.
Room 3 has some ideas about how dinosaurs became extinct too. Here are the ideas from some of our clever people. We think that maybe a volcano erupted. OR The meat eating dinosaurs ate all of the plant eating dinosaurs. OR The trees all got eaten and so there was too much carbon dioxide in the air and all the other dinosaurs died. OR People might have killed the dinosaurs. OR Velociraptors attacked all the other dinosaurs.
