At Craigburn we have a set of school values which remind us of the important behaviours we need to show towards each other – to make our school a safe and fun place to learn.
Our main three school values are on our school logo.
We would like all students in all classes to think about how we can use our school values to create a set of positive learning expectations across the whole school. Expectations are things we expect and want to have happen.
Here are our main three school values and three other values we can also think about.
- Self Worth – To value yourself as a person.
- Caring – To show care towards others and the environment.
- Responsibility – To take charge of your words and actions.
- Respect -To show regard for others. Be honest, fair and considerate.
- Optimism – To be the best and see the best in all things.
- Resilience – To bounce back when things get tough.
How can we use these values to form a set of agreed positive learning expectations for all students to use in different areas in and out of the school?
Your teacher will work with you to think about and discuss these ideas.
Please record your ideas and on the form below.
Below is an example of how we can use ‘we’ statements.
