Hi everyone! This week (the 25th- 3rd of June) iReconciliation Week but because of the current situation we are going to be celebrating it differently. The SLC’s and Mrs Taylor have come up with a way for everyone to take part Reconciliation Week.
We have organised a list of different activities for you all to do. Below are some ideas we have come up with and some links to access other resources and activities to do for Reconciliation Week.
There is a :
- tree scavenger hunt where you can find QR codes on trees (starting Friday). You can scan the QR codes to find out information about the native trees. A PDF map will be available in the library for you to follow and find the location of the trees with the QR codes.
- Kahoot that has been created by Carol. You can have fun joining in on the Kahoot activities at lunch times in the library.
- Video with some of our students sharing what Reconciliation Week means to them. This was produced by Emily Chapman and Direct by Chenyi.
The following list provides links to various mediums of learning. These resources are aimed at young people from years 6 to 12. They are intended to compliment the work that you do in bringing important conversations and shared understanding into your classrooms, schools and communities.
