Each year we have many school fundraisers. For example – we have had a colour fun run, casual days, gala day, school discos and mothers and fathers day stalls.

Fundraising is a good way for our school to raise and save money for special items and projects to improve our school.

Over the last year, SRC has discussed items that we would like to spend money on.

The most popular responses from students across the school include seating and playground markings.

The Student Leadership Committee met recently to discuss what types of seats and playground markings we think would be good for our school.

There are lots of choices and things to consider such as – the location of seats, the type of seat, how they are fixed to the ground, the colour and material, and the reason for having seats in particular locations.

We have worked closely with Mr Luke who has given us some ideas from various suppliers. These are pictured and numbered below.

We would like your class to discuss which seats you like the best, along with ideas for where the seats should be located.

We would also like you to look at the Edumarking website and suggest up to 5 playground markings you think would be good in our school.
